Our First Day at JOAD

We headed over with our bow strung.  We picked up our quiver, arrow, finger tab. The first day of JOAD seemed a lot like our lesson.  Lots of safety lists.  One of the coaches noticed her bow and pointed out my beyond rookie mistake.  I had the arms facing inwards.  Apparently this is what is meant by recurve.  There were some warm ups and stretches.  Then they did some shooting.  They all moved closer to the target instead of the target moving to them.  She sought out attention from her coaches but enjoyed her first day.  I don’t think JOAD will be too scary.
